Today is the day after Imbolc, which occurs on February 1st, halfway between the Winter and Summer solstices. This is the festival of the washing of the earth’s face. Also, Cailleach (the Goddess of Winter in the form of an old woman) drinks from a sacred well and transforms into Brigid (the Goddess of Spring in the form of a maiden). This festival comes from the Celtic tradition which I find great affinity for. For me, this is a time for manifesting and new beginnings, such as this website. Welcome! I hope you enjoy your visit.
